The Iberian Open competition has a rich legacy, showcasing many fantastic bowlers over the past 27 years.
Originally held at Javea Green Bowls Club, the competition featured several disciplines over the course of seven days. However, following the closure of Javea Green, the format has been streamlined. The competition was moved to Calpe Bowls Club, which hosted Ladies and Men’s Singles as well as an Aussie Pairs format.
This year, Bonalba has been selected to hold the Iberian Open due to its excellent facilities and convenient location. The event will kick off with a one-day open mixed pairs competition. If successful, we hope to add more disciplines for 2026.
A special thank you goes to Keith and Dee Hamilton. We are committed to making this competition a success and ensuring that the Iberian name remains strong.
