Today, Bonalba travelled to Benitachell Bowls Club for a friendly match.

All eight rinks were used for both rinks and triples matches. This was BBC’s first competitive game on its new carpet.

BBC has done a fabulous job, with the green and surrounding areas looking very smart.

Although very warm, It was a fun day with lots of laughs, and all the games were played in a friendly but competitive spirit. The green was slower than expected, and everyone struggled to find the weight.

However, the day belonged to BBC, winning on seven rinks, and losing on just one.

The day finished with a wonderful meal at Casa Lili.
